Are you interested in becoming a wild squirrel rehabilitator? Join UUWR's Animal Care Director Cathy Wolfe as she walks you through the basics of caring for orphaned squirrels from infant to release. You will learn the basics of caging, feeding, and preparing young squirrels for life in the wild.
Class starts promptly at 7:00. Please arrive by 6:30 and wait outside the elevators on the 11th floor, to allow time be shown to the classroom.
Please note, you must be a licensed NY State Wildlife Rehabilitator to legally posses and care for squirrels, so this class is intended for those who are licensed or intend to become licensed in the coming year.
